Sandals (gladiator)

K. Jacques

Established 1933

Founded in 1933 by Jacques and Elise Keklikian, K. Jacques created the most elegant and iconic Tropezienne gladiator sandal. K. Jacques sandals have been worn by some of the world’s biggest movie stars, artists and writers such as Brigitte Bardot, Madeleine Renaud, Françoise Giroud, Joan Collins, Cocteau, Picasso, Colette, Paul Géraldy, Oliver Hardy and many others.

K. Jacques symbolizes luxury, fashion, elegance, comfort and tradition. In recognition of this tradition, the K. Jacques fashion house was awarded the Entreprise du Patrmoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label in 2011. This is a distinction bestowed on behalf of the French state in acknowledgement of the creativity, artisanal know-how and industrial excellence of French companies.
