Henkel AG & Co.

Pritt (1969)

Founded in 1876 by Fritz Henkel, Henkel AG & Company is a German chemical and consumer goods company, active both in the consumer and industrial sector. The first product that they marketed was a universal detergent based on silicate.

With Pritt, Henkel took its first steps in the office and stationery supplies sector. Launched in 1969 and based on lipstick applicators, Pritt was the world’s first glue stick. This clean and convenient method of gluing was an instant success and turned Pritt into Henkel’s most widespread global brand.
