Pepper Mill

Peugeot

Established 1810

Peugeot has been making pepper, salt and coffee mills for longer than it has been making cars. In 1810 brothers Peugeot converted the family flour mill to a steel workshop and began making tools and domestic appliances. They started production of coffee, pepper, and salt grinders in 1842. It wasn’t until 1892 that the company, then called Les Fils de Peugeot Frères, began to manufacture cars.

Made in in France till the present day, all Peugeot mills carry a lifetime limited warranty. They are regarded by many as the best pepper mills in the world as they are almost impossible to wear out. The patented helix-shaped teeth grip the peppercorns while they are ground, and each corn is cracked in half before the grinding starts. Peugeot mills are the benchmark of the industry and therefore the mill of choice in most world class kitchens.
