Pool cleaning robot

Maytronics

Dolphin (1983), Peter Rasch

In 1982, Peter Rasch invented a device that could automatically clean a swimming pool. He decided to work with Maytronics to develop the world’s first robotic pool cleaner. Maytronics launched the first domestic and commercial robotic pool cleaners under the Dolphin brand name in 1983.

Today, the iconic Dolphin pool cleaners still offer the most efficient and cost-effective method for achieving a consistently clean pool. Moving freely around the pool, Dolphin robots remove debris and dust from the water while scrubbing the pool floor, walls and waterline with an advanced pool brushing system.
