Established 1874

Founded in 1874 by Jacob Vollrath, the Vollrath Company is manufacturer of stainless steel and aluminum small-wares and equipment. In 1876, Jacob’s eldest son, Andrew, joined the business. Having learned the art of creating enameled cast iron in Germany, Vollrath began to manufacture a small amount of enameled cast iron utensils that Jacob sold himself. Their most iconic object is the elegant kitchen scoop.
