Lucchese
Established 1883Founded in 1883 by Salvatore and Joseph Lucchese as ‘Lucchese Bros’, Lucchese Boot Company makes the most iconic cowboy boots. In the days, the family business was mainly the US Army, stationed in Fort Sam Houston. Although historians cannot agree on who created the first cowboy boot, Lucchese makes the best cowboy boots in the world. Their extraordinary quality, comfort and fit are unequalled.
Lucchese boots feature the finest grade leathers, 52 lemonwood pegs which are hand-driven into the bottom of each boot, and a 4-inch steel shank as part of the support system. The average Lucchese pair requires 25 man hours to produce. All of John Wayne’s boots through his entire career were made by Lucchese. Other notable owners include, among many others: President Bush, Michael Jordan, Tina Turner, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Moody Blues.
