Founded in 1895 by Gustav Wittner, Wittner manufactures musical accessories such as tuning forks, string accessories and stands, but is mostly known for its metronomes. Formed as a precision mechanical factory for the production of metronomes, today Wittner has become the manufacturer with the widest range of Metronomes in the world. Their most iconic metronome is the Taktell, which grew out to become a term of quality and enjoy a high reputation among people in the know.
