Founded in 1963 by Alois K. Diethelm, Lascaux has become one of the world’s leading manufacturers of water-based artists’ colours and products used for restoration. In the late 1950’s, Diethelm helped pioneer the development of acrylic colors for artists. Dedicated to the creation of only the highest quality paints, Lascaux continues to make unsurpassed products. The founder’s daughter, Barabra Diethelm, is the current director.
