Tent (inflatable)

Karsten

Established 1981

Founded in 1981 by Gerard Karsten, Karsten is the manufacturer of the world’s first inflatable tent. Since the early 70s, Gerard Karsten owned a travel store, but the real success came when his son-in-law, Maarten Takken, invented and developed the first inflatable tent.

The Karsten tent is set up within 5 minutes and is made from the very best materials in the Karsten workshop in The Netherlands. The standard tent is equipped with a strong bisonyl ground sheet and is fully customizable. You can add poled awnings or link another Karsten Tent to it – the configurations are endless. Even if you stay with several people in the tent the air does not get stuffy due to the Karsten’s fantastic ventilation.
