Frying pan (forged iron)

Turk

Established 1857

Founded in 1857 by Albert Karl Turk, Turk is one of the world’s oldest manufacturers of hand forged pans completely formed from one piece of iron. It al began when Albert Turk installed a hammer plant in the mill of his father in law to make shovels and pans. Many of the successful pan and shovel designs originally manufactured by Albert Turk are still manufactured today. The company is now led by the fifth generation of The Turk family.

Mostly used for the gastronomy, the iconic Turk frying pan has a continuous grain throughout, which makes the pan get hot faster than cast iron. Also, the food stays hot, allowing food cooking on its surface to stay tender inside and form a crispy outer skin.
