Mortar & pestle

Wade Ceramics Ltd.

Established 1810

Founded in 1810, Wade Ceramics was initially a manufacturer of products for the textile and wool spinning industries, as well as bottles for the growing beer breweries in Staffordshire. As part of the Milton Brook Kitchen Collection, Wade manufactures a range of dishes, bakeware and bowls continuing a rich tradition of high-quality pottery. Their most iconic piece, and almost synonymous with the name Milton Brook, is the mortar with its characteristic unglazed finish and the beech handle pestle.
