Marcato
Established 1930Founded in 1930 by Otello Marcato, Marcato is the leading manufacturer of pasta machines. The first stone of the factory in Campodarsego, where production is still carried out to this day, was laid in 1938. Interest in pasta machines was constant, but took a big leap in the eighties, when Americans got interested in fresh, artisanal food and developed a new American cuisine. The Atlas 150 is Marcato’s most iconic model and is also in the collection of the Smithsonian Museum.
