Chubb
Established 1818Founded in 1818 by the Chubb brothers, who served apprenticeships as blacksmiths, Chubbs is a brand of safes and vaults, which offer certified burglary- and fire protection. In 1835 the Chubb brothers patented their first safe. In 1947 Chubb introduced a new range of safes, which could give protection against oxygen cutting. This was a landmark in safe design. The Chubb Standard Anti Blowpipe safe was a technical breakthrough. Today, Chubbsafes is manufactured under license by the Gunnebo Security Group.
