Established 1977Founded in 1977 by Michael Drake in London’s East End, Drake’s is a manufacturer of the finest ties and really stands out with its textured grenadine ties. The silk grenadine tie, so-called for its distinctive weave, is manufactured in solid colours and therefore easy to pair with busier shirts and coats. Sean Connery wears grenadine ties in all of his James Bond films and Roger Moore brings ports one in For Your Eyes Only. The grenadine tie is one of the hallmarks of a true gentleman.
