Tecno S.p.A

Nomos (1987), Norman Foster

Founded in 1953 by Osvaldo and Fulgenzio Borsani, Tecno s.p.a. designs and produces innovative furniture for workspaces. Designed in 1986 by famous British architect Norman Forster, their most iconic design is the Nomos table, a skeleton-like table that can be adapted to a wide range of needs. It is available in a glass and a wood top version and can be assembled in two heights, simply by including or excluding spacers between the top and the supports. Combined with the Aron desk chair, this table is an icon of the dot.com bubble and can still be found in offices of successful start-ups.
