C.P. Company

Established 1975

Founded in 1975 by Massimo Osti as the Chester Perry Company, C.P. Company is a manufacturer of functional outerwear, mostly known for its innovative fabrics and processing techniques. Introduced in 1988, C.P. Company’s most iconic piece is the ‘Mille Miglia jacket’ or ‘goggle jacket’. The Mille Miglia was an open-road endurance race which was held in Italy from 1927 to 1957. Since 1977, the Mille Miglia is mostly known as a regularity race for classic and vintage cars.

When driving a classic convertible car, the hooded windproof goggle jacket offers protection against the elements. It features two clear lenses on the hood — the goggle — and one on the wrist, for the wristwatch. In 2010 C.P. Company was sold to FGF Industry Spa.
