Common Projects

Established 2004

Founded in 2004 by Prathan Poopat and Flavio Girolami, Common Projects is an American/Italian luxury footwear company. Poopat and Girolami were working on a number of creative ‘common’ projects together – hence the company’s name – including the design of a platonic white sneaker.

Subsequently, they came up with the iconic Achilles sneaker, which has gained cult status thanks to its minimalist design and superior construction. The shoes are hand-stitched in Italy from Italian nappa leather. It features a line of numbers along the heel, displaying the style, the size and color, respectively.
