Tie (seven fold)

E. Marinella

Established 1915

Founded in 1914 by Eugenio Marinella, E. Marinella is an Italian necktie company, specialized in hand cut and sewn seven fold ties. The term seven fold refers to how the necktie is constructed; it is made out of a single piece of fabric that is folded seven times, which results in a better drape, a larger tie knot and a thick, luxurious feel. Marinella was the tie of choice of style icon Gianni Agnelli. Other famous wearers include heads of state such as Bill Clinton, Boris Yeltsin, Silvio Berlusconi, Jacques Chirac and Hosni Mubarak.
