Founded in 1935 by David M. Clark, David Clark Company has pioneered air and space crew protective equipment, with products ranging from headphones to anti-G suits. Business started in the textile business with the development of unique knitted materials. In 1941, David Clark Company specialized in air-space crew protective equipment, beginning with the development of the first anti-G suits, used by allied fighter pilots during World War II. Today, the main focus lies on passenger and crew protection in the commercial space flight market, their iconic noise attenuating headsets with boom microphones being their bestselling product.
