Established 1926Founded in 1926 by Lou Rose, Derek Rose’s father, Derek Rose is a family business of three generations making the best nightwear, loungewear and underwear. Lou wanted to create a brand unrivaled in luxury using the finest silks and cottons. In 1950 Derek Rose joined his father and relaunched the business under the Derek Rose brand name. Today, it is by far the world’s finest and most iconic luxury sleepwear brand.
Over the decades Derek Rose has tailored the nightwear of royalty, film stars and musical legends, but is very discrete about it. Working with the finest fabrics, cashmere, wool, silks and the best cottons, Derek Roses most iconic pieces is the classic pajamas with satin stripes, produced by an intricate weaving process that gives high sheen and colour clarity in the stripe.
