Established 1980Founded in 1980 by Dal LaMagna, Tweezerman is a manufacturer of consumer and professional beauty tools. A tweezer is a tweezer is a tweezer. I can hear what you are thinking: how can a pair of tweezers have iconic value? Well, the key to Tweeezerman’s success was the positioning of the product: tweezers have a bigger market in beauty rather than health, so they promoted tweezers to remove eyebrow hair rather than splinters. In 2004, the company was acquired by J. A. Henckels, one of the oldest manufacturers of household goods.
