ET66 (1987), Dieter Rams & Dietrich Lubs

Designed in 1987 by Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs, the eight-digit ET66 calculator from Braun is a true icon of modern design. With its sleek styling, slim plastic casing and uncomplicated interface, the iconic ET66 helped elevate the calculator to an everyday personal item.

Long after the calculator went out of production, it gained renewed fame serving as the inspiration for Apple’s calculator app in the iPhone. It has been in high demand ever since, so in 2013 Braun decided to reissue it.
