Established 1923Estwing Manufacturing Company was founded in Rockford, Illinois, in 1923 by Swedish immigrant Ernest O. Estwing. Combining both style and function, Estwing produces the most durable, comfortable and best-looking striking and struck tools in the world. All Estwing products are constructed of one solid piece of steel for strength and can be used in both large builds and small household projects alike.
The Estwing Claw Hammer consists of a single piece of strengthened steel and has a distinctly narrow neck. Heavy enough to drive nails quickly and balanced enough to give the claw the proper leverage, the Estwing hammer looks and feels just perfect. The grip is made of leather discs, which not only makes the hammer pretty, it’s also a great way to absorb shock. Sealed with a water-based lacquer, the grip resists the elements and over time will develop a rustic patina.
